The Napa Half Marathon

It is with great sadness that we have decided to cancel the 2021 Napa Half event scheduled for Oct. 3rd.   We do not take this decision lightly.  Just as you have been training hard, we have been working equally as hard to prepare for this event.

Due to health concerns, we are unable to offer the experience that we would normally offer.

The purpose of this event is to help raise money for local high school college scholarships.  We will still give out a few scholarships but not nearly the amount we normally give.

We are expecting to put this race on next year, October 2nd, 2022. We hope you can join us and the community when that time comes.

If you have registered for the 2021 Napa Half, please follow the link below and log in to your account. You will be prompted with the options to donate your registration towards high school college scholarships or refund your registration.

Thank you for your understanding.

Race Info

The Napa Half Marathon

The Napa Half Marathon is nestled up in the rolling hills of east Napa. Scenic, rustic and winding roads will take you from the start at Skyline Park through the vineyard lined neighborhoods in a charming countryside setting. Locals come out to cheer you on while curious deer are commonly seen along the course! A bottle of Napa Valley wine and a custom medal will greet you at the finish line. The race is hosted by Athletic Feat and is professionally chip timed by NorCal Timing. The Half Marathon starts at 7:30am. (Participants must be at least 12 years old on race day.)

The Quarter Marathon

A fun distance for those who enjoy shorter races! The quarter marathon (about 6.55 miles) will follow the half marathon route on the first of its two loops. Then it will return to Skyline Park. Finishers will receive a medal and a bottle of wine. The quarter marathon will start with the Half, at 7:30am.

Is this a USATF certified course?   It is not certified, but it is measured with a Jones Counter and multiple GPS devices.

Can I walk the Half Marathon?   Yes, however you must be able to complete the course in 3.5 hours.

Can my dog run with me in either race?   Sorry, we ask that your furry friends stay at home. Dogs are not allowed inside Skyline Park.

Can I run with my baby jogger?   We do not specifically restrict strollers. We would not however recommend them. The course is on the road, which is open to traffic, and there is little to no shoulder. These are more like country roads, with no sidewalk.

I'm injured, can I get a refund or defer to next year's event?   While we have a no refund policy, we are happy to defer your entry to the following year OR transfer your entry to a friend. Contact events@athleticfeat.com with deferral or transfer requests.

Can I switch races?   Yes, you may drop down from the Half to the Quarter Marathon. If you would like to upgrade from Quarter to Half Marathon please contact us as we will charge the difference in price. events@athleticfeat.com

Are there pacers for this event?   Not currently.

Will there be a bag check at the start?   We will have a very informal area designated for your items. Please lock all valuables in your car or leave them at home.

How hilly is the course?   It's a fair course in that for every uphill there is a nice downhill. A few hills have a challenging grade. We advise that you incorporate hills into your training plan to prepare yourself for the continual change in elevation.
