Is this a USATF certified course? It is not certified, but it is measured with a Jones Counter and multiple GPS devices.
Can I walk the Half Marathon? Yes, however you must be able to complete the course in 3.5 hours.
Can my dog run with me in either race? Sorry, we ask that your furry friends stay at home. Dogs are not allowed inside Skyline Park.
Can I run with my baby jogger? We do not specifically restrict strollers. We would not however recommend them. The course is on the road, which is open to traffic, and there is little to no shoulder. These are more like country roads, with no sidewalk.
I'm injured, can I get a refund or defer to next year's event? While we have a no refund policy, we are happy to defer your entry to the following year OR transfer your entry to a friend. Contact events@athleticfeat.com with deferral or transfer requests.
Can I switch races? Yes, you may drop down from the Half to the Quarter Marathon. If you would like to upgrade from Quarter to Half Marathon please contact us as we will charge the difference in price. events@athleticfeat.com
Are there pacers for this event? Not currently.
Will there be a bag check at the start? We will have a very informal area designated for your items. Please lock all valuables in your car or leave them at home.
How hilly is the course? It's a fair course in that for every uphill there is a nice downhill. A few hills have a challenging grade. We advise that you incorporate hills into your training plan to prepare yourself for the continual change in elevation.
