The amazing new Brooks Transcend
Just in this month, Brooks' completely new high-end stability shoe, the Brooks Transcend, is the successor to the extremely popular Trance. With the very latest in foam technology, this is a whole new level of plush, even more comfortable than the Trance was, which is saying a lot. You need to experience it on your foot to believe it!
New Shoes this Month
The NEW BALANCE FRESH FOAM 980:
By having the smarts of a human designer mixed with cutting edge software, the Fresh Foam 980 is a new technology. It's a neutral cushioning shoe that combines a more natural drop with a plush ride. A soft foam, very comfortable, and very light (9.1oz for a men's size 9, 8.1oz for a women's size 8)
The BROOKS TRANSCEND and RAVENNA 5:
The Transcend is a completely new shoe from Brooks. It redefines the ultra-high end of stability shoes. This is an extremely plush, extremely cushioned shoe. It is well suited for distance runs, but keeps your feet perfectly comfortable on short and long runs alike. Along with the Saucony Hurricane, the Transcend is one of the two most comfortable stability running shoes available today.
The Ravenna 5 is a shoe for the mild pronator, in-between a neutral and a traditional support shoe. The fifth generation Ravenna is a full ounce lighter than version 4, and like most newer shoes, the inside arch is filled in all the way to the ground for a more natural feel and a smoother heel-to-toe transition when running.
The NIKE LUNARECLIPSE 4:
The LunarEclipse 4 is exceptionally flexible and lightweight, featuring Dynamic Fit technology with Flywire for lockdown and strategic support. The engineered mesh upper delivers ventilation with targeted support, and molded blades and flex grooves help you move naturally.
The NIKE ZOOM FLY:
The Zoom Fly is made with Dynamic Support technology and springy, responsive cushioning composed of Phylon and Cushlon foams for an ultra-smooth ride. Flex grooves create natural range of motion while lightweight sandwich mesh on top gives you the best in breathability. Very light, only 7.9oz for a women's size 8.
The SAUCONY HURRICANE 16, MIRAGE 4, and TYPE A6:
|An upgraded mesh enhances fit, feel and durability of the new Hurricane 16, while the heel window is fully reflective to provide greater visibility for running in low-light conditions. This is one of the two most comfortable stability shoes in the running world, alongside the Brooks Transcend. And the lightest.
|The Mirage 4 features a redesigned upper and minimal overlays resulting in a seamless feel. The heel cushioning technology is upgraded to PowerGrid and the 4mm platform continues to provide supreme responsiveness with just a touch of guidance. Very light (8.9oz men's size 9, 7.9oz women's size 8).
|The Type A6 is a distance racing flat, designed for distances from 5K all the way up to a full marathon. It is extremely light at 5.5oz for men (size 9), 4.5oz for women (size 8). It's a perfect combination of lightweight and responsiveness, comfortable enough for a mid-to-long distance race, but far lighter than a traditional trainer.
The INOV-8 FASTLIFT 315 / 335:
With state-of-the-art weightlifting technology, the new fastlift delivers stability, support and structure in the heel and mid foot. This shoe delivers category leading flexibility and comfort in the forefoot through inov-8's renowned Meta-Flex system. The fastlift sets a new standard in weightlifting as the lightest product of its kind. We carry the 335 for men, and the 315 for women.
